Seeing old friends, teaching new pilots, making new memories.
Here's a recap of the 2026 Prop Boogie, reserve a spot in a 2027 boogie if you wanna join!
The Prop Boogie was made to bring together paramotor and parakite pilots from all over the world and help people try out paramotoring with the Prop for the first time.
The event is totally free and open to anyone to join.
The boogie normally starts around 7am when the experienced pilots will fly with the sunrise and make sure everyone else is awake.
Then around 9am the briefing begins for the beginners and we start training; first with just a Prop and kiting harness to make sure you know what you're doing,
then with a motor on your back (turned off) so you can feel the weight and get used to operating the throttle.
Then once you're ready, you'll take turns with the
other students actually flying with the motor while our instructors watch you and help you improve on every flight.
We normally take a break in the middle of the day when it gets bumpy. Then we resume for a sunset session and then finish off with a BBQ.
All equipment is graciously provided free of charge by Flare and Air Italy for all visiting pilots as well as students.
Every size Prop is available to use (according to skill level) and you have the choice between using an electric paramotor (AirItaly EPG-21) or a gas paramotor with a Corsair engine.
Equipment is shared between students and visiting pilots. If you are an experienced pilot, you are encouraged to bring your own paramotor so that you'll have unlimited flying time.
Our ideal student has some experience flying parakites or is already flying paramotors but just not with a parakite.
You must be able to ground handle a wing in reverse. Each student is assessed on an individual basis and we'll keep training on the ground with you until we (and you) feel that you're 100% ready for your first paramotor flight.
We make no promises because some people do end up needing much more practice until it's safe for them to paramotor, but so far we've had a 100% success rate of getting people in the air in just 1 or 2 days of training with us.
We do not train people with zero flying experience, that's just not realistic in 3 days.
